Trenchless Asia 2026

The 2026 Trenchless Asia event, which is a leading trenchless technology conference and exhibition, was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand on 10 and 11 June. The PE100+ Association had a stand at the exhibition and gave a presentation at the event to promote the installation of PE100 pipe systems using trenchless technology.

Our stand was manned by teams from our two Thai members, SCGC and IRPC who were supported by Andy Wedgner from LyondellBasell. The exhibition was well attended and the PE100+ team were able to interact with many visitors to explain the benefits of using high quality PE100 pipe systems, with the focus on trenchless technology.

Pontawit Klungsuwan from SCGC also gave a presentation on “The Benefits of Combining PE100 Pipe Systems and Trenchless technology”. This described the different trenchless techniques for installing new PE100 pipes and how they can also be used to rehabilitate existing pipelines. It also covered the EN and ISO standards concerning trenchless technology and introduced the PE100+ Association No-Dig Guide.
