PE100+ Association participated in Conference and exhibition by India Society of Trenchless technology at Delhi
Trenchless pipe installation is in high
demand, particularly in urban areas, as it enables underground utility pipes to
be installed, replaced and refurbished with minimal disruption to the surface
and environmental impact.
Founded in 1995, the Indian Society of
Trenchless Technology (IndSTT) is the leading organisation in India and South
Asia. It is dedicated to advancing trenchless technology through training,
certification, and standardisation.
IndSTT organised the No Dig India Show
2025, a conference and exhibition held in Delhi on 28–29 November. IndSTT
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CIDC and Medhavi Skills
University (MSU). MSU trains around 1,000 students per year for a Bachelor of
Vocations degree, creating a skilled workforce for the trenchless installation
industry.
The PE100+ Association participated as a
sponsor and speaker. Chanchal Dasgupta from Borouge Pte Ltd gave a presentation
on behalf of the PE100+ Association on “The benefits of using PE100 pipe
systems and trenchless technology for project management.”
The exhibition was attended by more than 25
Indian and international companies, including HDD operators and suppliers of
materials and monitoring systems. A total of twelve technical presentations and
three panel discussions were held. Under the chairmanship of Dr P. R. Swaroop several
important figures from the world of trenchless technology took to the stage at
the opening session on both days.
