Plastics Pipeline Training Systems [all materials]

Plastic Pipes Conference Association # 1998 Gothenburg

LeHunt

A comprehensive package of training programs for plastics pipeline systems has been developed for designers, installers, and operators in water supply, irrigation. gas, and drainage applications.

These programs have been operational in Australia, and New Zealand over the last 4 years period, and are applied to PE, PVC, PP, PEX, PVDF, and PB material systems. The programs have been developed from an industrial perspective of manufacturing, field design, and installation experience as distinct from emanating from a teaching institution. The contents have been developed in conjunction with the establishment, and nlodification of relevant National Standard Specifications for materials, and end use products.

Please note that the whole article content is available on PPCA website only :

Exposure df UPVC systems in storage and service leads to changes in physical properties with increased exposure periods. A programme of external exposure and artificial accelerated exposure has been undertaken and changes to surface gloss, low speed mechanical properties and colour development monitored.
