At the 20th of September, chemical company ATOFINA joins the PE 100+ Association. ATOFINA's material, Finathene ® XS 10 H, has successfully met the PE 100+ resin requirements and, has been admitted to the Positive List of materials

The PE100+ Association released the new issue of "Positive List of Materials". 15 polyethylene pipe resin products from (3) ATOFINA, (3) Basell, (4)BP Solvay, (3)Borealis, and (2) SABIC are listed. This list will be valid till 29th February 2004.
